Our Story
S.E.A. Education Group is a UK-based consultancy dedicated to specialist education services for universities in the UK and in south-east Asia. We help UK universities develop their market presence in south-east Asia, principally through the establishment of Regional Offices, market research and student recruitment.
We work closely with students wishing to study in the UK, offering advice on where to study and assistance with their applications. Many of these come through partnerships we have established between local universities and UK universities.
Founded in 2009, with over 15 years experience of working in the region, we have offices in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City). Our staff work across the region, including Myanmar, Thailand, Brunei, Cambodia, Philippines and Indonesia.
Leadership
Geoff Notcutt
CEO & Founder
Geoff previously worked for a UK university in senior academic posts as Head of Department and Associate Dean. In these roles he gained in-depth experience of setting up academic links such as articulations and franchises, and of Quality Assurance procedures at UK universities.
This was followed by 8 years as Director of the International Office, where he gained extensive knowledge of marketing and student recruitment in Africa, south-east Asia and Europe.
In 2009 he set up S.E.A. Education Consultants, with the aims of providing a specialist service for UK universities that wish to develop their presence in south-east Asia, and offering a professional service to students who wish to study in the UK.

Set up to offer a full range of business services in Malaysia, including financial, HR and logistics services.
From our office in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur, we work throughout Peninsular and East Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Thailand.
Our operational staff visit UK universities every year to keep up-to-date on developments, and to meet students who are studying there.

S.E.A. Education Consultants Co Ltd
Ho Chi Minh City
Set up to work closely with schools, universities and students in Vietnam. We focus mainly on three destinations: the UK, Malaysia and Singapore.
Many students from Vietnam find Malaysia and Singapore more affordable than the UK. We represent universities from these countries that offer UK degrees taught in-country under licence, enabling students to gain a UK degree at a lower cost.
